Exactly three hundred and nineteen days have passed by since we last found ourselves belting out the lyrics to the latest hit from megastar Nick Jonas into our hairbrush… And yes, we counted every day. His last single to grace the charts was the insanely catchy, “Bacon,” which only made us hungry for new music from the singer slash actor. But ten months and fifteen days on, we can finally listen to his newest single, “Remember I Told You,” featuring none other than Anne-Marie and Mike Posner.
Talk about a star-studded collaboration! A hot new single from either one of these music superstars would have been enough for us but having them all singing together on one track? We almost can’t handle our excitement.

Nick first teased his fans with news of a possible new music release at the start of May when he posted a cryptic tweet which later turned out to be the first line of the chorus in, “Remember I Told You,” and obviously, his eleven million followers went crazy.

Nick then continued to subtly tease his fans for a couple of weeks before finally releasing the news that we had all been waiting for. Twenty-four hours before the single was set to be released, he made the official announcement alongside the single artwork.

And now, the day has finally arrived. Insert happy face emoji here. We can finally listen to Nick Jonas’ new single, “Remember I Told You,” featuring Anne-Marie and Mike Posner. We couldn’t be happier if we tried. Seriously this summer smash has number one written all over it and we can’t wait to see how well it does in the coming weeks.
A couple of days before his latest single was released, Nick was interviewed by The Hero Summer Zine which is a limited annual publication. During this interview, Nick revealed some exclusive details about his new hit.
When he was asked about the writing process for, “Remember I Told You,” Nick said that he wrote it when he was on tour in 2016. “I went on the studio bus and I started this track and I really liked the way it sounded. I texted Mike Posner who was the special guest on my tour at the time and I asked him to come onto the bus. He came and listened to it two times and was like, “I love it. I’ve got some lyric ideas.” So he jumped in the booth and within five hours, it was pretty much done.”
Nick also told the publication about the lyrics in the song. He said, “I love the message. I feel like it’s a position so many people have been in, where they feel like they’re not being heard. I love the first line of the chorus because I feel like it’s a really humble way of asking for someone’s attention and begging to be heard after you’ve given so much to them.”
Cue the sound of our hearts melting.

We really love, “Remember I Told You,” and we couldn’t think of a better trio to collaborate on it. We love how Nick Jonas, Anne-Marie, and Mike Posner all bring their own individual talents together to create the musical masterpiece that this song is.
