Female rapper Nicki Minaj has been throwing consistent darts on the Billboard Hot 100 since 2009. Alongside numerous successful collaborations with artists like Mariah Carey, Rihanna, Usher, Kanye West, Drake, Madonna, etc, it’s no surprise how highly requested and respected Minaj is as an act.
Her recent new entry, ‘You Da Baddest’ with fellow rapper Future, swiftly entered the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 at #38 thus giving her a grand new total of 80 Hot 100 entries. The song has also made appearances on worldwide charts, including those in France (#95), Canada (#53) and the Australian Urban charts (#39). It’s featured on the chart-topping album HNDRXX, which also received mostly positive reviews from critics.
Minaj’s last solo entry came in March 10th, 2017 when ‘Regret In Your Tears’ peaked at #61 on the Billboard Hot 100. Luckily, it aided in giving her the crown of having the most Billboard Hot 100 entries for a female artist since the charts inception. ‘No Frauds’ and ‘Changed It’ also charted on the same week giving her 3 new debut entries at the time.
Overall, she is the ninth artist with the most Hot 100 entries and the only female artist in the top 10 alongside legendary acts like Elvis Presley, Ray Charles and James Brown.
