No Good Nick’s Melissa Joan Hart Reveals She Once “Burned Water” Whilst In Her Home Kitchen

Melissa Joan Hart has taken on many different roles in her career but none of her previous characters is further from her own truth than her current role. She is playing Liz, a mother of two and a professional chef, in the new Netflix show No Good Nick; but, Melissa Joan Hart, herself, can’t even cook, and when she tried at home, she managed to burn water!

She made this confession on The Rachael Ray Show where she also promoted the Netflix show. She sat at a table in front of the kitchen, opposite Rachael Ray with two respective mugs in front of them, as if they were catching up over a drink of coffee.

For those of you who don’t know, Rachael Ray is an American celebrity chef who has gone on to have a brilliant career in the spotlight, so you can imagine her surprised when Melissa Joan Hart stated that she “burned water”. The clip below is a total must-see.

Watch Melissa Joan Hart Admit That She “Burned Water” In An Interview With Rachael Ray Here:

The actress blames her inability to cook down to growing up as a child actress and so she never really learned how to do general things, including applying make-up. The years have certainly been good for the mother of three, as many 90’s kids will recognise her for playing the lead roles in Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina The Teenage Witch. Recently, she was in the TV show Melissa & Joey alongside Joey Lawrence which was certainly short-lived, and now she plays the mother in the new family-comedy Netflix show No Good Nick.

We also got an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip of No Good Nick, where we discover the fridge isn’t real and that it occasionally smells, the spiral staircase doesn’t lead anywhere, and there’s no actual water coming out of the taps.

We are currently watching No Good Nick, which has a total of 10 episodes, it’s very possible to binge-watch the whole thing in one sitting. We can’t help but hope it gets a second season.
