Normani Kordei of the girl group Fifth Harmony has impressed us all once again with her stunning vocals. Earlier today she teased us by dropping a snippet from an upcoming cover mashup of two songs: ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’ and ‘Cranes in the Sky, both from Solange Knowles’ latest album A Seat at the Table. Those are some heavenly vocals. Let’s just say that we can definitely relate to Troye Sivan’s reaction to the snippet. We’re also super jealous that he got to hear the full version in advance.

This cover will be the second that Normani posts in less than a month. In mid-December, she covered a mashup of Drake’s songs ‘Fake Love’ and ‘Sneakin”. She worked with the same producers, The Invaders, for her Solange mashup cover. They also produced her cover of Tory Lanez’s ‘Say It’ back in February 2016.

We’re loving these mashup covers Normani is experimenting with! We can’t wait to see if she will continue posting them this year, and if so, which songs she will decide to cover. The possibilities are truly endless. Additional projects such as these covers allow artists to showcase their creativity and full vocal talent; and there’s no doubt that Normani Kordei has a lot of that!
