It’s gonna be May Day has arrived and it was a special day for the band *NSYNC as well. All members, yes all members, gathered on Hollywood BLVD in L.A. in California today to receive their own star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Before the boys took to the stage on the famous walk of fame, Ellen DeGeneres had a few words to say, “I watched the band evolve over the years and by that I meant I spent 10 minutes reading their Wikipedia page,” DeGeneres joked.
“They actually got their name from a comment Justin Timberlake’s mom made about their singing. She said when they sang they sounded in sync,” she continued, adding, “You’re very, very lucky because if my mother named your band it would have been called, ‘Stop that racket, I’m trying to watch my stories.”
It has been 15 years since the band tore up hearts after they announced their hiatus. When it was announced that they would all be gathering for a special occasion, to receive their Hollywood Walk of Fame star, fans freaked out and fans showed up.
Timberlake thanked the fans by saying “This is so surreal. You guys are the best fans in the world.”
It’s easy to say that May has officially arrived after this special reunion of one of the most legendary boy bands there is.
