Fast-rising country singer/songwriter Oliva Lane is a multi-talented instrumentalist, and performer hailing from Houston. The now Nashville based artists started entertaining during childhood and immersed herself in the music of Shania Twain, Frank Sinatra, and Carole King.
These artists played a major role in her own path to becoming a performer and back in 2016 she received widespread praise from major publications such as Rolling Stone, Taste Of Country, and Billboard after the release of her debut self-titled EP.
Her musical output so far has garnered a cumulative stream tally in excess of 18 million. And with her 2019 EP The One slated for an August 9th release and a forthcoming appearance on NBC’s long-awaited songwriting competition series Songland in the diary, Olivia is set to take the country scene by storm.
Last week she shared the second taste of the EP following the release of ‘3AM’. The latest track to be shared off the project comes in the form of the playful track ‘So Good It Hurts’.
Speaking about the single, Olivia Lane says: “This song is about being in a fantastic relationship for the last few years. Nobody cheated or didn’t text back, it’s simply about glorifying a great man and some good love. I want to be a person and artist who always celebrates love, especially self-love. My upcoming EP explores my self-love journey and the man that I fell in love with along the way.”
