Omar Rudberg returns with his first taste of new music in 2024 with latest single ‘Red Light’.
The atmospheric ballad marks a new dawn for the Young Royals star, who prepares to embark on a new era after having signed to Elektra.
‘Red Light’ sees the star swoon on the dancefloor in a hit that is a surefire favourite for fans of Troye Sivan, Omar Apollo and Madison Beer.
The single lands with a music video directed by Adam Falk with the moody and minimalist video racking up over 100,000 views on YouTube in just three days.
Speaking on the new track, Rubderg said: “‘Red Light’ is a bittersweet song that’s very emotional to me. I feel like this song marks a new era. It’s very different from everything else I’ve released. It’s the introduction to what is coming.”
The single lands almost two years after the star dropped his impressive debut album OMR and three months after a landmark headline show at Cirkus in Stockholm.
Last year, the 25-year-old released a flurry of singles in both Swedish and English, including Jubel collaboration ‘Off My Mind’ and a cover of ‘I’m So Excited’.
