Swedish pop prince Omar Rudberg has teamed up with production duo Jubël on new single ‘Off My Mind’.
The Young Royals star flirts with a new beau over the reggaeton-influenced beat and a Hispanic string line which nods to the star’s Venezuelan roots.
UK listeners will best know collaborators Jubël thanks to their stripped-back remake of Toploader hit ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ but the Swedes have scored a long string of hits and amassed hundreds of millions of streams across releases in recent years.
Jubël’s world collides with that of Rudberg on ‘Off My Mind’ as the 24-year-old continues to establish himself as the latest in a long line of much-loved Scandinavian pop exports.
The latest single follows a busy 2023 for the singer after dropping ‘Happier’, ‘She Fell In Love In The Summer‘, ‘Call Me By Your Name’, as well as a version of The Pointer Sisters’ ‘I’m So Excited’.
Last year the actor released his head-turning debut album OMR, which featured the tracks ‘In The Sunrise’, ‘Moving Like That’ and ‘Pull Up’.
The former FO&O star was this week involved in a sneak preview of Netflix’s hotly-anticipated final series of Young Royals, set for release next year. Rudberg also attended the premiere of horror film Karusell, in which he plays a starring role.
