Welcome back to CelebMix’s YouTuber of the Week, where we introduce you to some of our favourite YouTubers. In the past, we’ve had YouTubers like Danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil, The Saccone-Jolys, Connor Franta, Lucy Moon and many others.
This week’s YouTuber of the Week is the amazing comedy duo OmfgItsJackAndDean!
Who is OmfgItsJackAndDean?
OmfgItsJackAndDean is a comedy duo made up of Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs.Their oldest YouTube video was published on the 24th December 2008 and goes by the name ‘Jack and Dean Celebrate Christmas’. However, this was only the start.
Since then they have not only published more and more funny sketches, but together they made their own show titled ‘Jack & Dean Of All Trades’ which can be watched on the Fullscreen app.
Jack and Dean also post a video titled ‘The Good, The Bad & The Just Plain Sh!t Parts of ___’ near the end of every single year. This has been happening since 2008 and is a good round up of each year.
As of right now, their YouTube channel is well over 500,000 subscribers and has over 36 million views in total, that’s a lot. This is just a sign of how good their videos truly are, if they weren’t, they wouldn’t hit those kind of numbers. So make sure you check them out to see what all the fuss is about.
Why should you watch their videos?
If you need a laugh and/or want to subscribe to someone who will make you do just that, then OmfgItsJackAndDean is the YouTube channel for you! Their sketches will definitely make you laugh, there’s no doubt about it. Jack and Dean bring such a unique style to their sketches and with the odd fellow YouTuber also starring in them, there’s nothing not to like.
Their videos are on average between 4-5 minutes long depending on the video. Unless it’s a ‘The Good, The Bad…’ video as they tend to be a little longer, going to roughly 10 minutes per video. These are such short videos in relation to the amount of times they will make you laugh. Don’t believe us? Just watch one and you’ll understand.

Featuring fellow YouTubers Bing and Tomska, Super Glued is definitely on our list of favourites. The video itself is about Dean super glueing his hands together and telling everyone else in the room about it. The video itself was published in late 2011 and even though we’ve watched it over and over, it still makes us laugh.
The Stairs
The Stairs is another video that was released in 2011 that will definitely make you laugh. The video is based around the superstition of crossing paths on the stairs and that if you do you’ll have a piano fall on you. The video is the conversation Jack and Dean have when they’re stood in front of each other about to cross paths. What will happen?
The Shredder
Featuring Hazel Hayes, Daniel J. Layton, David Elms and Rosie Armstrong alongside Jack and Dean, the video is about a man named Jacob who shreds everything he is given.
Consent
Now Consent may not be the funniest video they have on their YouTube channel but the moral of it is an important one. It’s all about Consent and the importance of it. It’s also a catchy song, so make sure you give this video a watch.
Pronunciation Frustration (Fac-e-book)
While having a conversation with Dean, Jack discovers that Dean doesn’t pronounce ‘Facebook’ correctly. The frustration quickly grows for Jack and which just makes the video funnier.
