One Bit and Louisa have unveiled the music video for their euphoric summer anthem ‘Between You and Me’.
Premiered by Just Jared, the visual begins by focusing on a lonely man in a blue room. As he goes about his day to day life, we see that he has the power to turn everything blue. Whilst others seem to fear or disregard him, he forms a connection with a lady in orange outside a grocery store.
Sharing the same power (with the lady turning everything orange), the pair have fun changing the colour of flowers, walls, and even a man’s jumper in the grocery store. Later on, we see the pair dancing around whilst the lady brightens the man’s blue flat with some orange. As the pair form a stronger bond, they discover that touching things together creates a striped fusion of orange and blue.
Shots of Louisa performing the song are intertwined throughout the visual, switching between orange and blue outfits and backgrounds. The visual concept perfectly captures the essence of the song whilst also offering up a different spin on your classic love story.
Speaking about the video’s concept, One Bit told Just Jared: “The idea behind the video was to portray that initial connection/spark when two people meet, whilst steering clear of the boy meets girl in a bar cliché. The final video really captures an imaginative spin on that exciting initial feeling.”
