The BBC Music Awards is returning for a second year, with One Direction and Little Mix named among the first seven performers.
The Awards, which will be held in Birmingham’s Genting Arena on Thursday 10th December, sees BBC One, Radio 1, Radio 2 coming together for a “celebration of an amazing year in music with spectacular performances and surprising collaborations from some of the biggest names in the business, hot new talent alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra“.
One Direction will be performing for the second year running, whilst girlband Little Mix will make their BBC Awards debut. Ellie Goulding and Jess Glynne will both be showing off their incredible vocals on the night, as will Irish singer-songwriter Hozier. Completing the line up for the time being are folk rock band Mumford and Sons and Cheerleader singer OMI.
As well as some incredible performances, the night will also award some of the superb talent that we have witnessed over the past year. Awards will include British Artist of the Year, International Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and a special award for a BBC Introducing artist. There will also be a brand new award for Live Performance of the year, which will be given to the artist or band who has delivered the stand out live moment of 2015.
Tickets for the event are on sale now, with prices starting at £39.00 (+£4.70 booking and facility fee per ticket). You can find out more information about the Awards here.
