Boy band One Direction continue their chart breaking streak with newly released single ‘Perfect’.
Following the top five hit Drag Me Down on the Billboard 100 chart, ‘Perfect’ managed a strong top ten debut selling 136,000 copies!
This earned the lads their fifth top ten single thus leading to a new record placement: the first and so far, only English boy band to have five top ten debuts on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Considering the numerous ordeals the band have had this year including Zayn Malik leaving, Liam Payne turning ill (glad he’s fully recovered) etc, success and achievement continues to be in One Direction’s path.
While an extended hiatus is in the works for the band after their upcoming album release in the latter half of November, they have promised to still get back together to release new music.
Solo work will be in progress for One Direction but that doesn’t mean it’s the total end for the band.
We’re still expecting a big ole’ reunion tour and more tours after that! After all, being the biggest boy band at this moment in time means tours and new music are a must.
Still, there’s nothing wrong with taking a well rounded rest – sometimes it’s needed!
