#ProjectHomeNiallDay was trending yesterday as part of Project Home’s week long project to get Home the recognition that it deserves. Home has become an anthem to listeners for a multitude of reasons – the majority of fans believe the song to be about coming out, about self-love and acceptance, and about finding a safe place in this world.
A song like Home coming from boys like Louis, Liam, Niall, and Harry has meant so much to both long-time and newer fans of the band. Not only do the lads pour emotion and feeling into the song as they truly feel the lyrics as they sing them – Liam and Louis (along with Jamie Scott) are credited for writing the song, and it was said to be an emotional experience.
#ProjectHomeNiallDay brought forth some incredible photos, videos, and fan art of Niall and what he means to One Direction fans – he’s the biggest supporter of the lads both as a band and as individuals, he’s got the most caring smile, and he’s truly an irreplaceable part of our hearts and lives.
From silly lyric changes, his adorable accent, his supportive heart, and his talent both as a member of One Direction and as an individual – we think Niall was smiling just as hard as we all were as he looked through the hashtag yesterday.
