One Direction – on their way to the Grammys?

On November 10th the list of Grammy submissions was made public and while the nominations are not official until December 7th, One Direction fans were excited to see Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam suggested for multiple categories.

The boys of One Direction have an array of awards under their belt but one they’ve yet to receive is a Grammy.  After 5 years of hard work, growing talent, and showcasing their incredible vocal ranges it seems that 2015 is the year this could change!

Many fans believe they should have been nominated for previous albums or songs but they’ve never truly been given the credit they deserved.  Through all of this they’ve still worked hard and kept pushing to meet their personal and career goals.

Ashton Kutcher says it best here:

“I don’t believe that old cliche that good things come to those who wait. I think good things come to those who want something so bad they can’t sit still.”

The boys of One Direction have completely summed up that spirit of life in their five years together and have done so with the passion and drive of a true artist.  They haven’t been out to win awards, they’ve been out to live their dreams and make their fans happy.  While they’ve definitely succeeded at that; they’re long overdue for a Grammy award to forever remind them of how far they’ve come from where they began and how privileged we truly are to have them in the music industry.

One Direction’s Grammy submissions include Album of the Year – Four, Record of the Year – Drag Me Down, Song of the Year – Drag Me Down, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance – Drag Me Down & Best Pop Vocal Album – Four.

After the incredible run of the boys’ career up to this point – what better way could Liam, Niall, Harry, and Louis commemorate their first 5 years together with than with their first Grammy win?

We hope to see their names appear on the official nomination list in December; they’re truly deserving of it!
