Paramore’s front woman, Hayley Williams took to Instagram to announce her split with husband and New Found Glory guitarist, Chad Gilbert. Here is her official statement:

In a recent interview with her cover feature on The Fader Magazine, Williams did reveal that her mental health led her to briefly quitting Paramore back in 2015. The band’s latest album, After Laughter, also features many topics surrounding depression and mental health.
“We also feel it’s important to state that we are going to be okay and in fact, we remain close friends who are good in each other’s eyes.”
The couple has been together for about a decade and married for just over a year. We are saddened by this news but wish them all the very best in continuing their separate lives.
