Our lonely boy, Penn Badgley, has finally came out of the shadows and will be returning to acting, after five years of focusing on his band, Mothxr.

Penn will be making his big return to TV with the new psychological thriller series You. He will be portraying the lead role of book store manager, Joe Goldberg. The TV series will be based on the Caroline Kepnes’ novel with the same name and her question is ‘What would you do for love?” You is about a bookstore manager who crosses paths with an aspiring writer. Now go back to Caroline’s question… What would you do for love? Well… Joe is open to any suggestion possible. Using the internet and social media, Joe gathers up the most intimate details in order to get close to Beck. His crush becomes more than a crush; it becomes an obsession. As he is willing to strategically remove every obstacle and person standing in his way.

Are we the only ones getting like a darker, creepier Dan Humphrey vibe from this?

The actress for Beck is still yet to be cast… Blake are you free!?

You will be a 10 part series and is set to be released April, 2018.

We can’t wait to see Penn doing what he does best! Are you ready to dive in the dark world of Joe Goldberg? We most certainly are! Let us know your thoughts over at @CelebMix!
