We thought The De-Tour was stunning, but WOW. The Singular Tour did not fail to impress us at The Wellmont Theater in New Jersey, March 9th.
What’s great about seeing Sabrina Carpenter is that you feel the love in the air for the fans. It’s all about the fans. The show, the merch, and of course, the music. Two outfits for the show was all she needed on The Singular Tour, backed up with some stunning visuals behind her and brilliant choreography. What’s cool about her outfits is the fact that she changes what she wears for each show. So each show is super unique!
In Jersey, her outfit was definitely bringing out some Rihanna vibes for a majority of the show. Perfect inspo too, because one of the songs on the set-list is “Diamonds” by Rihanna. For the encore, Sabrina dressed comfy in an over-sized hoodie as she sat on a stool beautifully singing “Exhale.”
One of our favorite visuals had to be when she sang “Alien,” and you’ll see why in our photos! Another great visual? THE DANCING! See below:
We can’t forget to mention the rainbow lights beaming on Sabrina when she sang, “All We Need Is Love.” To some this just might be a cute visual, but it represents so so much love in the room, as the beautiful colors stand for the pride flag. At a Sabrina Carpenter show, EVERYONE is loved and accepted. During her m&g’s, some fans even bring pride flags so they can pose with her in the photo with it. And just an FYI, her m&g’s are completely adorable because she basically does almost any pose you want with her.
You’d think when the show was over the fun would stop. NOPE. Sabrina is known for greeting her fans for free after the show. After waiting for everyone to leave the venue and waiting for security to make sure everything was safe, Sabrina greeted fans and took group shots with everyone. She also recorded everyone and added it to her Instagram Story! (Both below.)
Keep in mind this show was in March in New Jersey, so it’s pretty cold out. That didn’t stop Sabrina from being all smiles though.
With hit songs such as “Almost Love,” “Alien,” “Thumbs,” “On Purpose,” Pushing 20,” “Why,” “Paris,” and “Sue Me,” performed, this is a must-see show for any Carpenter.
Can we also take a second to appreciate the fact that Sabrina ends her shows slightly earlier than usual? A good chunk of her fans are younger, so we found that super amazing.
She always thinks about her fans and it’s honestly one of the many things that we adore about her so much. Also, big props to The Wellmont Theater for having a sign language interpreter for the entire show! It was truly breathtaking to see.
