Music is the universal language of our souls. It gives wings to the mind and flight to the imagination. It takes more than just years of hard work and extensive training because the true form of music comes from passion and dedication for the art. Tiagunov fell in love with music at the tender age of six when his father introduced him to the piano’s majestic melodies. Since then, there has been no looking back! He was a student of the Children’s Music School No. 5, Nizhny Tagil, and delivered his first solo recital at the age of nine. He was accepted into the esteemed Chelyabinsk State Academy of Culture and Arts, Russia. Soon, Tiagunov passion and dedication for the art. Some of the most prominent pioneers of the field dedicated their entire lives to their love for music. Thus, they excelled. One such individual who has caused a stir in the music community around the world is the immensely talented Vladimir Tiagunov.
Over a short period, Vladimir Tiagunov has received numerous awards and accolades. His vast reservoir of talent has landed him a place as a piano professor at the Long Island Conservatory, tutoring budding musicians and shaping their careers. As an active concert pianist, he has to balance his commitments towards his students alongside his performances, all while frequently organizing several student recitals. He has tutored numerous brilliant pianists, among whom there are several laureates of Piano Competitions. Along with that, he also serves as a jury member at several prestigious international music competitions. Vladimir added, “Managing my responsibilities as a teacher and a performer keeps me on my toes. Both aspects are immensely important, and I make sure that my students receive all the necessary support.”
Born in 1989 in the city of Temirtau, Vladimir Borisovich got his Master’s Degree with Honors. Later in 2014, he moved to the USA and was selected for the Artist Diploma program at the Long Island Conservatory of Music, Albertson, New York, under the coveted tutelage of Tamara Poddubnaya.
“Music is like food for my soul. It’s a language that doesn’t need words to convey our feelings. Music expresses our deepest and heartfelt emotions in a way that words cannot,” says Vladimir. His soulful pieces have stirred so much emotion in the world of music lovers that he has become one of the most revered artists globally. Inspired by classical legends such as Beethoven, Chopin, and Schubert, Tiagunov started in their footprints with his immense love and appreciation towards classical music. He has performed solo and at chamber concerts across Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Spain, Poland, and the United States of America.
