Get the drift? Well, the facts have been lingering far enough. Little Mix have been continuously receiving critical acclaim for their tight harmonies since the beginning of their career. Creator Kelly Rowland positively reinforced them as having potential to be the “best girl group to come out of the U.K” during their X-factor days and that just might be true; especially vocal wise.
The Pitch Perfect series is known as one of the most successful music comedy films of all time. In fact, Pitch Perfect 2 is the the highest-grossing music comedy film of all-time; grossing over 287 million, much more than the debut Pitch Perfect showcasing how much interest the films have generated. So, it’s obvious the next installment will probably be much bigger!
And what better way than to guest star the vocal killer powerhouse Little Mix?
While there isn’t a definite plot yet that we know of for the film, actress Rebel Wilson began spitting out her own ideas. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Wilson stated one of her visions for the film:
All the Bellas are together becoming a legit singing group out of college. I also think a Fat Amy origins story would be awesome.
Little Mix would definitely fit into that plot rather well. Especially knowing that they came out of a singing competition and into the real music industry world themselves. Perhaps they can act as role models for the Bellas in regards to not giving up in the industry and always focusing on the importance of friendship. This also goes for having thick skin and ignoring hate!
Or, the girl group could come in as competitors against the Bellas in a new national competition with the risks being much higher! It could even lead to a collaboration between the acapella groups or a massive conflict that ends up with a heart-lifting realization in the end.
