Your chance to be a Barden Bella is just around the corner!
Courtesy of their partnership with Episode, a mobile application that allows you to live your very own interactive story, Universal Pictures’ Pitch Perfect is the next franchise to hit the animated game this November. Episode has previously allowed viewers to put themselves in the middle of the entertainment world with games based on Mean Girls, Pretty Little Liars, pop-star Demi Lovato and Vine sensation Hayes Grier.
As stated in the official press release, “Pitch Perfect: In Deep Treble will provide fans from all over the globe with truly interactive experiences. By allowing the audience to choose where the story will lead, viewers will immerse themselves in the series’ universe—creating an avatar that befriends and riffs alongside Pitch Perfect’s most iconic characters.”
Starting today until August 10, writers out there will get the opportunity to add their own creative flair to this upcoming story. Episode is looking for applicants to develop their own comedic tales on the platform. Two lucky winners will be chosen to fly to Los Angeles this fall to enjoy a special “VIP Experience” at Universal Studios Hollywood. The trip includes a full-tour of the theme park, movie studio backlot, front-of-the-line privileges to all rides and attractions, as well as a gourmet lunch prepared by the park’s executive chef. But, that’s not all. The winners will also be attending a creator’s workshop with Episode writers and receive an avatar cameo in Pitch Perfect: In Deep Treble.
The brand new Episode series promotes the third and final instalment of the films, due out this December. Pitch Perfect 3 is the follow-up to 2015’s summer blockbuster hit, which holds the highest-grossing record for live-action movie-musical openings.
