Remember Pixie Lott? The powerful vocalist behind catchy tracks such as Boys and Girls and All About Tonight? Well after two years away from the musical spotlight, she’s back with beautiful, acoustic track Fake.
Having been gracing screens on The Voice Kids during 2017 and 2018, this new musical effort has come as a wonderful surprise to fans. Fake sees Pixie’s distinctive vocals shining through when singing of a love which becomes harder to fake until the realisation of ‘I know it’s better my heart breaks’ becomes clear. This is the perfect track to welcome Pixie Lott back to the music world as it’s reminded us and no doubt many other fans what made us fall in love with her when she first burst on to the scene ten years ago.
A one-take video has been released in support of the track flaunting Pixie’s stunning dance ability helping to bring the track to life and making us jealous of how effortlessly she pulls off each move. Shot by Dan Lowenstein, the choreography was crafted by Ricky Jinks which has created a stunning visual body of work.
Teasing fans that this is just a taster of things to come, Pixie said: “Can’t wait to hear what you think and take you on the rideeee to release a full album next year!“. We can’t wait to see what musical delights Pixie Lott releases over the course of the year, could we be lucky enough to get a smaller body of work before the album release next year? We’re definitely crossing our fingers!
