The song was not only inspired by a tropical love affair but also about the broader theme of following your dreams, whether that be in love or in other parts of life. Polartropica is an Asian/American artist who currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Known for her fascinating and whimsical music and impactful and creative music videos, Polartropica is an artist on the rise. Her last music video for “What’s Your Fantasy” won the London Director Awards and the LA Independent Filmmakers Showcase Film Festival. It further was the semifinalist for New York Indie Shorts Awards, and an official selection for Cannes Shorts, New York Indie Shorts Awards, Outfest Fusion and the upcoming Berlin Music Video Festival Awards.
