The UK’s favourite child actor, Maisie Smith has been in the public eye her whole life, growing up on the set of Eastenders. Maisie began her role as Tiffany Butcher in the popular BBC soap opera at just six years old and appeared on the show until three years ago.

Since leaving Eastenders, 16-year-old Maisie has been pursuing a career in music. Her YouTube channel boasts an impressive collection of covers as well as three original songs, ‘Good Thing’, ‘Where My Heart Is’ and ‘Not Gonna Cry’, from her upcoming EP.

Proving that she is no longer a little girl, Maisie is fast becoming a popstar in her own right, with the ‘Good Thing’ music video amassing almost 190,000 views.

Maisie’s latest release is a beautiful cover of Julia Michaels’ chart-topping single ‘Issues’, which CelebMix are excited to premiere.

Speaking of the cover, Maisie said, “I loved this song when I first heard it so I decided to put my own take on it. I hope everyone likes my version.” Check out Maisie’s amazing performance here:

Definitely a multi-talented star, Maisie plays the guitar, composes, dances and choreographs her own routines. However, this cover of ‘Issues’ really demonstrates her raw vocal talent.

Maisie’s musical talent has not gone unnoticed. She has received acclamation from Digital Spy who said “She has wowed us with her impressive vocals!” as well as causing lots of discussion on social media after her Loose Women appearance as people were surprised by how grown up little Tiffany Butcher is now.
