Samuel Jack, the soulful singer-songwriter, has released his new single “Surrender.” The song, which is off his EP, is a hauntingly beautiful song that is bound to hit you square in the gut and get stuck in your head.
“Surrender” is a relatable song about surrendering to feelings and letting our hair down. The song really drives home with Samuel’s beautiful voice and soulful edge that is hard not to fall in love with. We recently spoke to the singer about his EP and the meaning behind it.
“I’m so happy with it! It’s a collection of songs that I’ve written about love, life and loss – some of the songs on the record stem from a bit of a dodgy time I was going through a while back, others are just about having fun, being together and wearing your heart on your sleeve. I wrote a lot of the EP in my Caravan in somerset, where I live and work.”
