Kasey Phillips was born and raised on music production. Son of the iconic producer Kenny Phillips, Kasey Phillips found himself immersed in the lifestyle and produced his very first track when he was only ten years old. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Phillips chased down his dream until his own company Precision Productions became the top production company in his home country. After years spent working with Caribbean artists, Phillips moved to LA for a new chapter and he’s ready to transform the mainstream market.
His latest work on Ciara’s EP CiCi showcases Phillips’ work with artists including Chris Brown, Lil Baby, and Big Freedia. He is a producer on Ciara’s explosive “How We Roll” ft. Chris Brown which debuted at #9 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart. This is only just the beginning for Precision Productions and Phillips who has a fruitful future ahead.
Kasey Phillips has been recognized for his work as both a producer and entrepreneur with a Soul Train Music Award for Best International Performance and was named the EY Entrepreneur of the Year. Making the jump from his home country in Trinidad to Los Angeles, Kasey Phillips is excited to usher in a new era of artistry. His work on CiCi is his latest endeavor.
