It has been over a year since her last single “Better Place” was released, but finally, Rachel Platten is back with her fantastic new single “Broken Glass”. It is the lead single from her upcoming fourth studio album and we cannot get enough of it.
“Broken Glass” is an empowering anthem with an inspiring message which will touch people all over the world. It reminds us of her hit single “Fight Song” in that it is so inspirational. It is also upbeat and extremely catchy, and will no doubt have people up singing and dancing along at Rachels’ shows.
Rachel also unveiled the official music video yesterday. It shows Rachel and friends riding their bikes through city streets, and later in a car park, having fun and just letting go. Accompanied with beautiful sunsets this video really captures the essence of the feel good song.
You can watch the official music video for “Broken Glass” below:
Rachel has loved music her entire life, learning to play the piano when she was only five. Her debut album Trust In Me came out in 2003. However, it took twelve years for Rachel to make her breakthrough in the music industry. She rose to fame after the release of her single “Fight Song” back in 2015. The song charted worldwide reaching number six in the US and number one in the UK.
You can catch Rachel performing “Broken Glass” for the first time on Good Morning America this Monday (21 August).
