Our favorite long-haired Disney princess is back in action!
On Friday, a new trailer was released for Tangled: Before Ever After. The animated film, which premieres in March is a sneak peak of what to expect from Disney Channel’s newest original Tangled: The Series.
The one minute clip shows a not-so-happy Rapunzel bothered by the fact she has reconciled with her hair.
“I won’t ask how it grew back. I’m sure there’s a reasonable explanation that you’ll share when you’re ready,” her beau Eugene says passive-aggressively. It looks like we’re not the only ones curious as to how the princess’s lengthy locks made a reappearance.
The upcoming animation features reprise performances by Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as Eugene. Broadway star Eden Espinosa also joins the cast as Cassandra, a maidservant Rapunzel grows close to and confides in.
Tangled saw much success after its 2010 debut, earning over $200m domestically and over $593 globally. The box office hit received nominations in both the Golden Globes and Academy Awards. “I See the Light”, an original song from the movie that features vocals from Moore and Levi also ended up winning a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media Award in 2012.
