If there’s one person you don’t want to mess with it’s RAYE.
The songstress seeks revenge on a number of people who have done her wrong in the crazy music video for her new single ‘Friends’. Directed by Max Weiland, the visual begins with a series of girls tearing down RAYE online for no reason, mixed in with footage of other disgusting girl hate.
Determined to get her payback, RAYE sets out to wreak havoc in a number of hilarious ways. We see her baking a very unsavoury cake, teepeeing a house, and giving three girls the fake tan of their nightmares which reminds them of their nasty comments about RAYE.
RAYE’s on screen boyfriend doesn’t get away unscathed either. After footage of him cheating is sent to the songstress, she heads over to his house and sets fire to his favourite trainers, smashes up his car and turns it into a massive bubble bath.
Speaking about the music video, RAYE said: “I wanted this video to be about getting petty revenge on the awful things girls say and do to one another. It’s filmed in a very tongue in cheek way.”

Since its release, ‘Friends’ has been streamed over 2.6 million times on Spotify. The track has also been added to playlists at Capital FM, 1 Xtra, Kiss FM, Kiss Fresh and Capital Xtra.
Earlier this month, RAYE announced her debut headline UK tour. She will be visiting Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, Bristol and London throughout October and November, and due to demand a Dublin date has also been added.
