It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through this series of Celebrity Big Brother, but hasn’t it been great so far?
Big Brother has been recently known for housemates getting too drunk, loud, and wetting the bed (not naming names here…), but this series has been a complete u-turn back to the original days of the long running series.
The male housemates have settled into their new Elstree home, after they entered the house over one week ago. However, it wasn’t an easy ride over the past week; the men have had to do all the cleaning and cooking, as well as doing whatever the women request.
India Willoughby became the center of attention yet again when her ‘phobia’ of drag queens was the talk of the Big Brother house. There was an altercation with Andrew when India expressed her discomfort and offence at him dressing up in drag, calling himself Betty Swollocks.

Elsewhere, the housemates all took part in a task which challenged stereotypes. The men were sent out to work by Big Brother, while the women stayed in the main house and cleaned and cooked their meals before the returned. Well, that’s what the men thought. In fact, once the men left the main house, the women undertook the exact same tasks as them.
Throughout the week viewers and housemates have noticed how close Ashley and Genuwine have become, with Genuwine joking that Ashley will be his ‘next wife’.

Also becoming close in the house is Andrew Brady and Shane Jenek. Viewers have been obsessed watching the pair as their friendship flourishes. Also, it’s no lie that Andrew is attracted to Courtney Act!
Face-to-face nominations took place this week, with just the women able to nominate. Not surprising that India Willoughby was put up for eviction, along with Love Island’s Jonny Mitchell. Friday nights live eviction show seen Emma Willis announce that India received the fewest votes from the public vote to save, and would therefore be evicted.

This week the men have the power, and it’s a double eviction… Also, actual babies will be entering the house, as part of a task to see whether men or women are best at looking after children.
Celebrity Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5, and we’ll be back next week with another roundup!
