On Sunday 16th December HRVY played his last show of 2018 at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo.
First on stage was Capital’s DJ Will Manning. He played a series of songs including tracks by Roadtrip, HRVY, The Vamps and ‘Grenade’ by Conor and Jack Maynard. This was a perfect way to warm the crowd for the exciting evening ahead.
Next was Molly Rainford, who was over the moon and grateful to HRVY for letting her perform. She sung her new single that is coming out in January, ‘Commitment’, and her other single ‘I Like You’.
Four of Diamonds was another support act who got the crowd dancing by performing ‘Name On It’ and their latest release ‘Blind’.
Jack Maynard was the evening’s host and introduced the acts, whilst also keeping the crowd distracted by making them scream the loudest; evaluating which side of the Apollo screamed the loudest.
Samantha Harvey was the last solo support act. She performed a series of covers with our favourite being the Drake mash up. Samantha had the crowd singing and dancing.
Last but not least were twins Max and Harvey. The boys completed a series of dance moves and covers, which included, ‘Rise’ by Jonas Blue featuring Jack & Jack. The twins went on to perform their latest song and acoustic versions of their own music.
Now the wait was on for HRVY. Whilst the crowd chanted his name, suddenly the stage went dark. The singer then appeared on stage with his dancers to perform ‘I Wish You Were Here’. The crowd was screaming, fans were crying with happiness and HRVY looked so proud of himself. He then sang ‘Talk To Ya’ before going on to explain to the audience that this was the biggest show he had ever done by himself.
HRVY performed a mixture of tracks from each EP, ‘La La La’, ‘Holiday’ and the acoustic version of ‘I Won’t Let You Down’. He also sang various covers such as ‘Mama’ by Jonas Blue, ‘When The Party’s Over’ and ‘Happier’. The crowd went wild when HRVY changed his outfit and sang ‘Hasta Luego’. The singer then pointed out all of the signs that fans had made and were holding up as well as pointing out members of the audience that have travelled from another country; including Japan and Spain.
HRVY then sang ‘Sombody’ by Sigala, himself and Nina Nesbit. This was the first time he has performed the track so the performance was extra special. He went on to perform his latest single ‘I Don’t Think About You’ and ‘Heartbroken’. This was his final song of the evening and the fans had noticed this when the lights went dark. Therefore, they started chanting his name for an encore in which he performed ‘Personal’. This track got the crowd singing and dancing all with excitement for the end of the impeccable show!
