Niall Horan recently brought his incredible ‘Flicker World Tour’ to a sold-out audience in Belfast’s SSE Arena. Keep reading to check out our review of the concert!

Julia Michaels was the support act, and will continue to support Niall on the remainder of his UK, Ireland and Europe tour dates.

Her energy was phenomenal, and she got the crowd singing and dancing along, with several of her hits, including ‘Issues’ and ‘I Miss You,’ a Clean Bandit track which she featured on.

During her set, she also performed tracks she co-wrote, explaining to the audience that many knew her as a singer, but what people often didn’t realise is that she is a songwriter as well.

She acoustically performed tracks such as ‘Bad Liar’ and ‘Sorry,’ which had the whole arena singing along!

Following a brief interval, it was then time for Niall to take to the stage. Starting his set off with recent single ‘On The Loose,’ the atmosphere was phenomenal. If you haven’t already, you can watch the video for ‘On The Loose’ below:

As Niall’s set progressed, he also performed tracks from his debut album ‘Flicker,’ which include ‘Mirrors,’ ‘The Tide’ and ‘Seeing Blind.’ Along with his band, all tracks were performed live.

At several points throughout his set, Niall thanked the crowd for their continued support. From a young sixteen-year-old boy who auditioned as a solo artist on ‘The X Factor’ to being in one of the world’s biggest boy bands, One Direction, to the release of his debut album, it seems like there is no stopping Niall’s many achievements!

Possibly one of the most poignant parts of the show was when Niall asked the audience to put away their phones for a song that meant the most to him on a personal level: ‘Flicker.’ The whole audience was completely silent and it was a truly emotional and captivating performance.

At one point during his set, Niall explained that prior to his going on stage, the promoter had told him that his concert was the second highest ranking sold-out concert at Belfast’s SSE Arena. Singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen was 250 tickets ahead of him. Niall then performed a Bruce Springsteen cover.

Talented Niall also performed two One Direction tracks, ‘Fool’s Gold’ and ‘Drag Me Down.’ Both tracks were extremely well received by the audience.

Rounding off his set with ‘Slow Hands’ and ‘On My Own,’ it is safe to say that the ‘Flicker World Tour’ is unforgettable, with Niall truly capturing the essence of the emotion of his tracks. With phenomenal vocals, a talented band, a humble attitude, a fantastic stage presence and much more, we wish we could relive every minute!
