Today The Vamps have released their new ‘Missing You’ EP. This consists of four tracks: two brand new ones, an acoustic version of ‘All The Lies’, and ‘Right Now’, their latest single with Krept and Konan.

The first track, ‘Missing You’, is about somebody missing their ex and not being able to move on. The track is very chilled for The Vamps – it is different from the sound on each of their albums however, it includes a piano for the initial melody. The lyrics are very powerful, ‘Maybe I should have loved harder, put up more of a fight’, and fans will be able to relate to them as it is a common situation that many people find themselves in.

The second track on the EP is ‘Right Now’ with Krept & Konan. It was released on April 4th, with the boys tweeting about their new track, posting a sneak peak of the lyrics as well as promoting their new EP. This is the first time that the boys have collaborated with Krept & Konan and wow is the track amazing. The Vamps have this new vibe going on with their music and it is fantastic to see how much their fans love it and the differences they are making with their music, especially in ‘Right Now’ when the verses are rapped by Krept & Konan.

The next track is ‘Waves’, and again, it is a completely different sound for The Vamps and for the fans. Although, considering how the fans have taken to liking the other different sounds on each album, this track should be a particularly big hit for the boys. ‘Waves’ is about a partner letting somebody down and making mistakes and then searching for forgiveness – ‘Can we go back to when nothing really mattered at all?.’

The last track on the ‘Missing You’ EP is ‘All The Lies Acoustic’. The original track is with Alok, Felix Jaehn and The Vamps but the boys have made a live acoustic version, which they have posted on You Tube.

    Stream ‘Missing You’ below.

As well as a brand new EP, The Vamps kick off their Four Corners Tour in Plymouth on Saturday 27th April.
