Talia Mar has released her brand new EP, ‘Not Worth The Wait’, marking the end of a long-awaited new chapter in her music career.
The seven-track project follows the release of singles ‘A Bitch Always Knows’ and ‘Psycho On A Couch’, and arrives almost a decade after Talia’s last musical project.
Blending irrepressible beats, fierce melodies and plenty of unapologetic sass, ‘Not Worth The Wait’ sees the multifaceted singer and creator embrace a newfound sense of freedom in both her delivery and lyrics. The result is a project that feels confident, playful and distinctly Talia, moving between lighthearted moments and bigger, more powerful vocal performances.
“I’ve loved making this EP so much and I think it perfectly represents who I am,” Talia says. “It has every aspect of music that I love from the fun lighthearted moments to the big belters.”
However, the release also marks the beginning of a pause for Talia, who has announced that she will be taking a hiatus from music to focus on her personal life and spend some time being herself again.
Before stepping away, Talia will bring this era to a close with her biggest headline show to date at London’s KOKO on October 6th. The show will also mark the final stop on her first-ever solo tour, with the singer teasing fans that it will be the “biggest and best” show she has ever done.
