New K-pop supergroup RIIZE continue their ascent to the top this week, with the release of their latest single ‘Talk Saxy’ – a fierce and funky dance tune, that sees the super talented septet express their “confident and honest narrative of coming across an unfamiliar attraction and interest in someone new”.
Filled with catchy saxophone riffs and hard-hitting 808 drums, the edgy track serves as the follow up to the bands debut ‘Get A Guitar’, which has so far amassed over 15 million streams on Spotify alone.
In the songs hyper-stylised music video, we see SHOTARO, EUNSEOK, SUNGCHAN, WONBIN, SEUNGHAN, SOHEE, and ANTON pay homage to some of the 90s, and 00s most iconic boybands.
Sporting matching baggy cargo pants, oversized sports jerseys and sneakers, the magnificent seven bust out some seriously slick choreography in a variety of different setups, interspersed with a series of close up shots of each of the boys as they deliver the tracks flirty lyrics direct to camera.

Formed by legendary South Korean multinational entertainment agency SM Entertainment, and tipped by critics as being ones to watch in 2023 and beyond, the group are already making their presence felt both IRL and online, with the official RIIZE Instagram account racking up over 1 million followers in just four days!
Celebrating each others individual talents and characters, the bands name RIIZE combines two words – “rise” symbolising growth, and “realize” representing achievements – which together encapsulate “the idea of a team that grows as one while achieving their dreams”.
‘Talk Saxy’ is available to download / stream via SM Entertainment/RCA Records now.
