Rising alt-pop singer/songwriter Finn Forster makes a powerful return with his emotive new single, ‘Pablo’ – a track that blends vulnerable storytelling with his signature cinematic sound.
Known for his rich vocal tone and narrative-driven writing, Forster steps into a more intimate space with ‘Pablo’, exploring themes of friendship, loss, longing, and the complicated beauty of human connection.
Built around atmospheric production and raw lyricism, the emotive track showcases Forster’s increasing maturity as an artist, and feels like a quiet confession – reflective, sincere, and deeply personal – while still delivering the soaring choruses and melodic hooks that have earned him growing attention on the UK indie scene.
Commenting on the real life events that inspired the song, Finn says: “‘Pablo’ was written about my best mate from Iran. We grew up together and then when he was 21 years old, he went home to visit his family and wasn’t able to return for almost 6 years. I thought he’d be away a couple of weeks and the song explores all of the emotions around not seeing my best mate for years, growing up and then us finally reconnecting once he got back. One day he literally just walked through my front door after 6 years, it was mad.”
Fresh from the release of ‘Pablo’, and hot on the heels of his almost-sold out tour this month, Finn announces details of his biggest UK headline tour yet!
Set to take place in Spring next year, the ‘Circles’ singer will kick off the month long jaunt in Wrexham at The Parish on May 14th before visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sheffield, Newcastle, York, Sunderland, Manchester and Bristol, before wrapping things up at London’s Colours on May 28th.
