A huge congratulations are in order for Ryan Lochte and his fiancee Kayla Rae Reid after they recently announced that they were expecting a new addition to their family, and this time it isn’t another Gold medal.
It’s not hard to guess that twelve-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte and his Playmate fiancee will make a super adorable baby but until we can freak out over any cute pictures of the tot, we will have to settle for freaking out over their beautiful announcement which was posted on their respective Instagram accounts a couple of days ago.
Ryan was the first one of the couple to reveal their exciting news, posting the sweet and very fitting announcement on his Instagram account for his over one million followers to see. Underneath, he wrote, “My Christmas gift came early this year…” and we have no doubt that it did. Christmas 2016 is going to be a very special one indeed for the soon-to-be Lochte family of three.
His gorgeous fiancee Kayla who is a professional model and former Playboy bunny then followed up her man’s post by uploading her own announcement.
Talk about a cuteness overload!
The genetically-blessed couple went public with their relationship in January following a meeting at a party in Hollywood. Kayla spoke fondly about the moment they met in a previous interview, and had us all wishing that we had a Ryan Lochte of our own. She said, “We ran into each other and we grabbed each other’s hands. We were looking into each other’s eyes. I had always heard he was a player and a partier. I said I would never date an athlete but when we first met, he was the complete opposite of everything I thought he was.”
They surprised their fans by getting engaged in October and again, Kayla opened up and made us all fall madly in love with the world-famous swimmer. She said, “I never pictured myself married to anyone but he’s so romantic. He leaves me love letters all around the house. He’s a softie, he is so sensitive and thoughtful.”
So as well as their genes being strong, their relationship seems to be strong too. We have a feeling that their little tot is going to be one of the luckiest babies in the world. We can’t wait to see the first pictures of him or her but until then, we want to send all of our love to Ryan and Kayla.
