Sabrina Carpenter used Instagram in a unique way to make an announcement. She posted letters spelling out the title of her new album, EVOLution backwards. Sabrina also posted the album cover art as well as the release date, October 14, 2016.
Sabrina released her first album, Eyes Wide Open in April of 2015. From her first album, she released two singles, ‘Eyes Wide Open’ and ‘We’ll be the Stars’. She has also already released ‘On Purpose’ as a single off EVOLution.
Sabrina’s Girl Meets World cast mate, Rowan Blanchard showed her support. Rowan tweeted how proud she was for the release of the album.

Singing is not Sabrina’s only talent. She plays Mya Hart on Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World and she has recorded songs released on Disney soundtracks and albums. Additionally, Sabrina starred in Disney’s adaption of an 1987 film titled, Adventures in Babysitting.
