Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She is best known for portraying Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World, in which she also sings the theme song alongside co-star Rowan Blanchard. Additionally, she has starred in shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Goodwin Games and Gulliver Quinn.
Her music career kicked off in 2013, when she performed songs for Disney Fairies: Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust, and the Sofia the First soundtrack. She released her debut single ‘Can’t Blame A Girl For Trying’ in 2014 before dropping her debut album, Eyes Wide Open in 2015. During 2016, Sabrina released her second album, EVOLution, which reached number 28 on the Billboard 200. She also announced a tour which went on to be a sell-out.
