CelebMix Award nominee Samira gets the party started this festive season with the release of her latest single ‘Good at Goodbyes’ – an out-and-out dance/pop banger that sees the singer marry reggaeton beats with infectious melodies to create the ultimate kiss-off record!
Along with the release of the confessional track, Samira announces details of her debut EP ‘Dancefloors & Drama Vol. 1’.
Scheduled to be released Friday, January 19th 2024, the six-song collection of “anthem and relatable break-up bangers” will include previous single releases ‘Like This, Like That’, ‘That’s Not What My Friends Say’, ‘Envy Me’, and ‘Toxic’.
Of the extended play, the former ‘Dreamgirls’ star says: “I’m so excited to finally release my debut EP early next year. It rounds up all my singles from the past twelve months and tells a really clear story about heartbreak, regret and all the fun ways to get over that! All with one eye firmly on the dancefloor. Hopefully it gives people a really strong first glimpse into who I am as an artist and what I might have up my sleeve for the rest of 2024!”

Having spent the last year and a half in the studio, co-writing and producing tracks with some of musics biggest hitmakers, most notably Tre-Jean Marie (Little Mix, FLO), Cutfather (Demi Lovato, The Pussycat Dolls), Ryan Ashley (H.E.R., Anne-Marie), and Lil Eddie (Rita Ora, Maluma), Samira draws inspiration from the likes of Britney Spears, Rihanna, and Tinashe, to create a dynamic sound of her own.
Speaking to CelebMix back in the summer of 2022, the ‘I Love Your Smile’ singer said of her original material: “I’ve taken all of the mad, crazy and creative ideas that I’ve had stored away in my brain for years, and turned them into songs that I believe my generation are going to love! Even though I’m really inspired by all different styles and genres of music, I’d say my sound is quite unique and individual – it’s ultimately dance / pop, but it definitely has more of an edge. So you can expect a lot of high energy and empowering anthems… I’m striving to make music that people won’t forget!”
