Just five weeks before the UK leg of their Arena tour begins, The Vamps have been at The London Studios prepping for a performance on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

The popular TV show, which airs its first episode of season 13 on Saturday 20th, has been posting teasers of the episode on their social media accounts, including a few snaps of the boys taking a break and their stage set up.

Their performance will involve Ant and Dec joining them for a musical routine in the final minutes of the episode. This is a common segment of the show, and at times can be rather comical.

Main guitarist and backup singer James McVey also tweeted a pic of Ant and Dec outside in the cold during rehearsal.

In a separate tweet yesterday, James said: “[I] Can’t wait to be on @itvtakeaway this weekend. Massive fan of @andanddec so going to be star struck no doubt too”

We are all very excited to find out which of their latest singles the band will play tomorrow night. Will it be ‘Wake Up’, ‘Cheater’, ‘Rest your Love’, or something completely new?

The band will be joined by actor and director Michael Sheen, who will be the celebrity presenter for the episode, and Scottish soft rock band Wet Wet Wet who will be performing for the ‘Singalong Live’ segment of the show.

Bassist Connor Ball has recently taken some time away from the band while recovering from a knee injury that was sustained during a performance in Hong Kong. It is unknown whether or not he will be performing on Saturday night.

Check out their latest video, their remake of ‘Kung Fu Fighting’ for the up and coming ‘Kung Fu Panda 3’ film, below.
