2017 is set to be an enormous year for current Queen of the Jungle, Scarlett Moffatt. The Gogglebox star, who won the last series of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, has landed two huge presenting jobs on ITV.
Scarlett will be hosting the backstage action from this year’s National Television Awards. She will also assist host Dermot O’Leary in presenting the main show, and will be in charge of the NTA social media channels for the night. The ceremony, which takes place on Janaury 25, celebrates the best programmes from the past year.
Of the news, Scarlett said: “I’ve never been to an awards ceremony before. I can’t believe the first one I’m attending is as part of the actual NTA team working alongside Dermot O’Leary, the master of live TV.
“I can’t believe it; it’s going to be such an amazing experience. To top it off my Dad gets to be my plus one and walk me down my first ever red carpet! What more can a girl ask for?!”
Scarlett took to Twitter to announce the news, with Dermot welcoming her to the NTA family.

Furthermore, Scarlett has also landed a presenting role on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. She will be joining her fellow Geordies for the new series, replacing Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.
“I’ve watched Saturday Night Takeaway with my family for as long as I can remember I’m such a huge fan, so to be part of one of the biggest entertainment shows out there, with two of my all time TV heroes Ant and Dec, is an absolute dream,” she said.
“I am so excited. I didn’t think 2016 could be topped but I really can’t wait for my Saturday nights now.”

It’s not only ITV who are taking an interest in Scarlett. Channel 4, home of Gogglebox, have also reportedly signed her up for a reboot of Streetmate, as well as a new entertainment show with Alan Carr.
She may or may not be on Gogglebox anymore, however, we’re certainly in for a Scarlett-filled year!
