On Saturday, July 20th, at the San Diego Comic-Con, the first trailer for the Harley Quinn animated series was released and what did look like a wonderful TV show for all young children who are fans of the DCU – the trailer has proven that this in fact, an adult-only show and you may need to watch this before deciding whether or not your children should have access.
The trailer features a lot of cursed words coming from Harley’s mouth to start off with and then goes on to show her beating her ex-boyfriend, Joker, a very cringe-worthy scene of Harley flossing, bloodied scenes including her iconic bat and sledge-hammer, a little flirting with Poison Ivy and a surprising team-up with the one and only, Batman.
Alongside Kaley Cuoco as Harley Quinn, we have Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as the Joker, Tony Hale as Doctor Psycho, Ron Funches as King Shark, J.B. Smoove as Frank the Plant, Jason Alexander as Sy Borgman, Rahul Kahli as Scarecrow, Wanda Sykes as Queen of Fables, Giancarlo Eposito as Lex Luthor, Jim Rash as the Riddler, Diedrich Bade as Batman and many more, including Aqua-Man.
A release date is yet to be announced, so stay tuned!
