Selena Gomez Files Documents to Trademark Name

Selena Gomez is one of the most recognisable faces on the planet and now the 24-year-old is planning on being the only Selena Gomez in show-business anywhere in the world.

According to various reports the former Disney Channel child star has filed official documents to launch an official jewellery line under her name and has gone one step further by filing paperwork to officially trademark her name.

If the documents get accepted by the courts it will mean that the pretty brunette singer and film star will be the only Selena Gomez allowed to release music, movies, fashion lines, merchandise, and make TV appearances across the globe, and will even mean there will be a lock put on any fanbase websites meaning that a fan site cannot be set up for any other Selena Gomez other than the ‘It Ain’t Me‘ hitmaker.

The news comes after Selena opened up to Vogue Magazine about her mental health: “I was depressed, anxious. I started to have panic attacks right before getting onstage, or right after leaving the stage. life is so stressful, and I get the desire to just escape it”
