When hearing the song, your instinct is to jump up and down, thinking Gomez is here to slay 2017 early on, but it’s actually her friend Julia Michaels’ first single ‘Issues’. The song is such a tune and you can understand why she has an incredible amount of support from Selena, the two have worked together in the past and it definitely shows!

From Songwriter to Recording Artist
Julia Michaels, real name is Julia Carin Cavazos, has written quite a few hit songs for Justin Bieber, Fifth Harmony, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and of course for her pal Selena Gomez. Her writing skills are no joke!
The 23-year-old signed a recording artist contract this year with Republic Records, immediately releasing ‘Issues’ on January 13th. Turns out that day wasn’t unlucky for Michaels. Her new single snatched a spot on the ‘Best Of The Week’ playlist on iTunes.
