The 23 year old singer and actress is back with a breath taking music video for her song “Kill Em With Kindness,” just months after the release of her latest video for her smash hit “Hands to Myself.”
“Kill Em With Kindness,” is featured on her second studio album titled “Revival,” which was released in October 2015.
The video stars the young singer preparing for a photo shoot as hair stylists and make up artists do some touch ups on her make up and hair. The video, shot entirely in black and white, goes for a more minimal aesthetic than we’ve expected to see from Selena, and it’s great to see another side of her music, and great to see the evolution of her music videos from the beginning of her singing career to now.
The video had over 200k views and 57k likes in the first 30 minutes of it’s release. The fans helped support and promote the video by trending #KillEmWithKindnessTODAY – which was a number one trend worldwide. Her fans – aka The Selenators – used the trend to show their love for the video and to show how proud they are of their idol.
