Selena Gomez’s name has never failed to make a headline. Gomez just released album Revival , departing ways with Disney owned label, Hollywood Records. Selena appears nude on the cover and claims it to be her most personal, honest record to date.
When talking to Refinary 29, Gomez discusses her fellow Disney Channel princess alumni, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus, “Everyone has found their identity in a really interesting way. We didn’t come out as these robots that looked and dressed the same. We had to go through our own sh-t. At the end of the day, it’s respecting every female artist’s choice in how she expresses herself, because that’s what she wants.”
Demi Lovato, who has known Selena, since age 8 both met while auditioning for “Barney and Friends”, has a new LP being released October 16 and a notorious nude photo shoot for Vanity Fair. While Miss Cyrus has broken her former Hannah Montana mold with a foam finger at the 2013 MTV VMAs. Cyrus is embarking on a mini tour this fall for an album she released for free. Selena just announced an American tour and we’ve heard whispers of a Demi Lovato world (domination) tour.
