Since making a return to music earlier this year, Selena Gomez has totally revolutionised her sound. With ‘Bad Liar‘, and ‘Fetish‘ the former Disney star has closed the door on her pop/dance sound, and has instead gone down a new alternative stylistic road.
The two tracks which are the first to be taken off Gomez’s upcoming album, are dark, and edgy. The modern style is something completely different to what is in the charts right now, and the two singles have been some of the biggest hits of Selena’s career so far. However some fans may not be totally happy with the new style of music the 25-year-old is making right now, she has gained a whole new fanbase and mass critical acclaim through her experimental new pop sound.
Now, Selena Gomez has opened up about her upcoming new single which will be the third off her new LP which is due for release later this year. She announced that the track will be “really upbeat” during an Instragram video:
