Shane Filan and his wife Gillian are fundraising for the charity Fighting Blindness.
The kind-hearted couple who were childhood sweethearts and celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary this year are hoping to raise €10,000 for Fighting Blindness to fund a Ret Cam for the National Maternity Hospital in Ireland.
Shane tweeted the link to the Just Giving page that he and Gillian have set up to help raise the funds.

The couples Just Giving page explains why they want to help the charity and what the money will be used for.
We want to try and raise as much as possible for this amazing cause. Your generous donations will go towards saving the eyesight of hundreds of babies.
Fighting Blindness Ireland and The National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street are teaming up to raise funds to purchase a €200,000 Retina Camera to help save the sight of premature babies. The RetCam will be used to screen 500 premature babies a year and over a ten year period will save the sight of over 300 premature babies.
The charity Fighting Blindness is an Irish patient-led charity funding research into treatments and cures for blindness. They provide a counselling service for people affected by sight loss and advocate for their members. Their vision is to cure blindness, support people living with sight loss and empower patients.
The National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, Dublin is the largest maternity hospital in Ireland. They deliver over 10,000 babies every year.
