Shania Twain Confirmed as AMAs Performer

Country music legend Shania Twain will be taking to the stage at this year’s AMAs for the first time in 16 years. The iconic superstar was confirmed as a performer earlier today (Monday, November 11th) across social media, with the Canadian superstar saying: “I’m SO excited to announce I’ll be performing at the @AMAs on Sunday, November 24th!  Tune in at 8/7c on @ABCNetwork to watch! #AMAs”.

The exciting news comes two years after the multi-grammy award-winning singer/songwriter made a triumphant comeback with her ‘Now’ LP; her first studio album in 15 years. The record was supported by a massive sold-out world tour and the 54-year-old became even more beloved than ever by fans worldwide.

Twain will be taking to the American Music Awards stage on Sunday, November 24th to belt out an epic medley of her greatest hits and the performance comes one month before she kicks off her latest Las Vegas residency following her 2012-2014 stint at Caesars Palace.

Her AMAs showcase promises to be one of the major highlights of the evening, and will no doubt win her a whole new army of followers in the streaming age. Make sure you’re tuned into the AMAs on November 24th to catch Shania Twain performing live alongside superstars such as Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and Thomas Rhett
