With her brand new comeback single Shania Twain promised fans that ‘Life’s About To Get Good‘ and the 51-year-old has kept that promise by confirming she plans to tour again.

When the queen of country hit the road for her Rock This Country US and Canada tour back in 2015, it was dubbed her “farewell tour”. But since announcing the release of her new album ‘Now‘, the singer has had a change of heart and has admitted that she plans to tour again soon.

The hitmaker has recovered from Lyme’s Disease which caused severe trauma to her vocal chords which means her voice now has irreversible damage. But while her vocals are permanently damaged, thanks to extensive therapy she is now able to sing again.

Speaking about her road back to full health, and the journey to finding her voice again, Twain tells ET Canada: “all along the way, it’s all been a confidence-building exercise because of the voice.”

Her comeback started in 2012 when she performed a two-year residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Speaking to ET about how she handled the ‘Still The One Shows’, the singer said: “There was no touring involved, so that was more manageable for me in dealing with my voice. I got through that really well, so I said, ‘Well, let me see if I can take this on the road,’”

The result of such a strong vocal display at her Vegas shows was the Rock This Country tour. Twain admits the 72-date tour was “exhausting” , telling ET: “I really thought that that would be the only time that I would be able to do that. It takes me an hour and a half just to warm up for a show, so it’s exhausting. So I thought, ‘Gee, if I add travel onto that, I’m not sure… I’m gonna do it this once.’”

But Twain whose first album in fifteen years; ‘Now’ will be released on September 29th, has admitted that she is “motivated” to perform live once again, saying to ET: “Now that I’ve got new music, I’m really motivated to do that music live”.

Fans who pre-order ‘Now’ from Shania’s official website will get access to pre-sale tickets for any upcoming tour dates!
